Uruguay (Actualización)
On May 9, 2024, Uruguay's National Emergency System released information on heavy rains that affected the country's ten departments (increase of 5 since the May 8 report). According to the report, 2,184 displaced persons were recorded nationwide (837 increase since the May 8 report), with geographic distribution in the departments of Treinta y Tres (n=1, 130), Paysandú (n=454), Salto (n=243), Cerro Lago (n=130), Durazno (n=109), Tacuarembó (n=46), Artigas (n=25), Rocha (n=23), Soriano (n=14), and Río Negro (n=10).
