Alinhamento dos Centros aos ODS

Os Centros Colaboradores da OMS (CCs) são instituições como universidades, hospitais, institutos de pesquisa, academias ou ministérios que foram designados para realizar atividades de apoio aos programas da Organização. Isso é conseguido alinhando os planos de trabalho do CC com vários mandatos e documentos orientadores da Organização. Um desses instrumentos é a Agenda 2030 para o Desenvolvimento Sustentável (ODS). Abaixo é um detalhamento de como os planos de trabalho desenvolvidos para várias áreas técnicas estão alinhados com os ODS, a saber, Objetivo 3: Boa Saúde e Bem-estar, Objetivo 16: Paz, Justiça, e Instituições Eficazes e Objetivo 17: Parcerias Para a Implementação Dos Objetivos.

Panorama do Trabalho dos Centros

Em junho de 2019, a OPAS lançou uma iniciativa para identificar, entre outras informações, os resultados mais significativos produzidos pela colaboração entre a Organização e os Centros Colaboradores da OPAS/OMS (CCs), num período de 1º de janeiro de 2015 a 31 de dezembro de 2019.

Essa iniciativa incluída uma pesquisa realizada com todo o pessoal da OPAS que trabalha com os CCs e a partir das conclusões da pesquisa, este panorama foi criado para destacar esses resultados e demonstrar como essas colaborações estão contribuindo para a realização dos planos e programas da Organização e, finalmente, às suas prioridades e mandatos.
