Purpose
As countries of the Americas work to recover and rebuild from the devastating impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, PAHO and USAID will convene its leadership to recommit to common priorities, renew the focus on global heath security, and reaffirm the commitment to work together for improved public health impact in the region.
Objectives
- Celebrate the PAHO-USAID partnership to advance health in the Americas.
- Align PAHO-USAID priorities for pandemic preparedness, drawing from the lessons learned from the regional COVID-19 experience.
- Highlight the expanded partnership to advance global health security and other public health priorities.
