The Pan-American Health Organization (PAHO), through the Departments of Innovation and Access to Medicines and Health Technologies (IMT) and Non-Communicable Diseases and Mental Health (NMH), is pleased to invite you to the launch webinar of the ‘Introduction course to Assistive Technology in the Americas, which will be held on Thursday, February 27, from 13:00. to 14:15 (UTC-5/WDC). HOW TO PARTICIPATE


OBJECTIVE

The webinar will present the regional context of assistive technology, highlighting the challenges and opportunities to improve access. It will discuss the need for and benefits of these technologies for the users, as well as their role in rehabilitation. Additionally, the event will outline the course objectives, target audience, program, and learning platform.  Practical insights will be shared through experiences from a Caribbean country.
