PAHO/WHO Belize continues to support the country in procuring the necessary equipment and materials to assist in the public health response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
On Thursday, April 16, 2020, PAHO/WHO Belize donated an additional three (3) testing kits of 96 reactions used to detect the virus to the Central Medical Laboratory of the Ministry of Health.
Acting Director of the Central Medical Laboratory, Mr. Juvencio Chan, accepted the kits on behalf of the Ministry of Health.
