Bridgetown, Barbados, 17 June 2020 (PAHO) - This video produced by the PAHO Office for Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean Countries (ECC), shows the importance of hand hygiene prior to care of patients and protection of health care workers by wearing appropriate PPE such as medical masks while delivering care. As we commemorate the Year of the Nurse and Midwife, we show the importance of nurses as leaders in the delivery of health care in a public health crisis such as this COVID-19 pandemic.
