Join us on November 5th, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (Washington DC Time) on the interactive webinar: Strengthening the evidence-based development, implementation and monitoring of investments to advance adolescent well-being in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC).

The Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) alongside the United Nations Internacional Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) are organizing the event with the primary objective to present and discuss two key global resources and their implications for the adolescent health and wellbeing response in the Region:

  • The second edition of the Global Accelerated Action for the Health of Adolescents (AA-HA!): guidance to support country implementation; and
  • The Global Action for Measurement of Adolescent Health (GAMA)

This virtual workshop will support the implementation of the Pact for the Future, endorsed by Heads of State and Government at the United Nations General Assembly in September 2024. It will also advance the Regional Plan of Action for Women’s, Children’s, and Adolescent Health, and the SDG 2030 Agenda. The workshop will include working groups to identify key implementation aspects for LAC.
