Recordings

You can watch the recording of the session, in Spanish and English.

Due to a technical problema, in certain moments of the session, the Spanish version contains fragments with the English interpretation and viceversa. Apologies for the inconvenience.

Context

Cities – many with large and diverse populations have unique factors that pose specific risks for violence against children and violence against women (e.g., population density, crowding, migration, isolation from larger family social networks) but also present opportunities for scaling up violence prevention efforts.

Panelists and participants will learn from mayors and local policymakers' experiences, challenges, and lessons on how efforts to scale up violence prevention initiatives have or can work in their contexts. They will also highlight good practice examples and be introduced to the INSPIRE and RESPECT frameworks.
