OBJECTIVE
The objective of this event is to discuss the importance of strengthening National Regulatory Systems in the Americas, examining processes and practices of National Regulatory Authorities in six reference countries, taking into consideration the context of the industries and markets they oversee, current pharmaceutical regulation, trade relationships, geographical, cultural and linguistic ties as well as the impact of sub-regional integration mechanisms.
This report will serve as reference to national regulatory authorities, government bodies and a broader community of stakeholders to raise awareness and appreciation of the regulatory challenges NRAs face, increase understanding of national regulatory remits and capacity, and identification of emerging markets and challenges coming to the fore now and in the future.
