Join us on Tuesday, 28 February, at 12.00 pm (EST)s to the webinar "Implementation of Global Initiative for Childhood Cancer in Latin America and the Caribbean: Progress and challenges" hosted by the Pan American Health Organization as the final activity to mark the International Childhood Cancer Day.
The webinar will discuss the advances and challenges during the implementation process of the Global Initiative on Childhood Cancer in Latin America and the Caribbean. It will also present the experiences of countries in the region that will highlight the importance of counting with the participation and commitment of the leading national, regional and international key actors to improve survival rates in chilhdood cancer and alleviate the suffering of all children, girls, and adolescents with cancer.
The event will have simultaneous translation in Spanish and English.
Objectives
The objectives of the seminar are to:

Disseminate the joint work carried out by PAHO, SJCRH, CCI, Committees on Childhood Cancer Ministry of Health, COMISCA and ORAS during the current biennium.

Socialize as a form of joint learning the advances and challenges faced by the Dominican Republic, Colombia, and Mexico in the process of Implementation of the Global Initiative on Childhood Cancer.

Promote campaign material for early diagnosis of cancer in children and adolescents for Latin America.
