This conference takes place nearly five years after the Declaration of Astana. It will focus on advancing Primary Health Care in developed and developing countries as a priority for national health security and securing the health of people around the world.
This two-day meeting will facilitate this essential and timely exchange of ideas to align with the launch of the U.S. Secretary’s Primary Health Care Action Plan and NASEM’s primary care advisory committee. The conference will also focus on Low- and Middle-income countries and how the United States can partner with other developed countries in improving primary health care worldwide–and what they can learn from the innovations in these nations.
