We kindly invite you to participate in the webinar "Preparing children for going back to school in COVID-19 times" on Thursday, September 10th, as part of the MHPSS/COVID-19 webinar series, organized by the Government of the Virgin Islands and the Mental Health Unit at the Department of Noncommunicable Diseases and Mental Health of the Pan American Health Organization.
At the height of nation-wide lockdowns in April, due to the novel coronavirus, more than 90% world's students in more than 194 countries were out of school, causing major disruption to the lives, learning and wellbeing of children around the world. This webinar will guide parents and teachers in how to help children prepare for going back to school during this challenging period.
