Its implementation includes targeted, site-specific use of the available methods, predicated on technical and operational feasibility, resources and infrastructure.They should be applied in accordance with the principles of integrated vector management, an evidence-based decision-making process adapted to local settings, which rationalizes the use of vector control methods and resources and emphasizes the involvement of communities.
