Contributions of nursing professionals to school health

The Pan American Health Organization (PAHO/WHO) invites you to share your experiences for a publication about the contributions of nursing professionals to school health.

We are collecting stories, good practices, case studies, and experiences of nursing professionals or nursing programs in the Region of the Americas that promote School Health, especially in the contexts of:

  • Promotion of health in schools.

  • School health in rural, remote, or underserved areas.

  • Interaction between health services and schools.

  • Attention to population groups in situations of vulnerability, especially girls and adolescent girls.

  • Information and communication technologies in school health

  • Education in school health

Selected stories will be included in a PAHO publication. To have your story included in the publication:

  1.  Enter the requested information in the online form:

  2.  Write a story of approximately 1,000 words describing nursing activities, practice, case studies, or programs that promote School Health in the above-mentioned contexts.

  3. If possible, attach high-resolution photos to help illustrate your story.
