The Pan American Health Organization / World Health Organization (PAHO/WHO) is pleased to announce the 15th International Dengue Course, organized by the Institute of Tropical Medicine "Pedro Kourí" (IPK), that will be held in Havana, Cuba on August 7th to 18th of . The course is sponsored by the Ministry of Public Health of the Republic of Cuba, the Cuban Society of Microbiology and Parasitology, PAHO/WHO and ZIKAPLAN.
Prestigious national and international professors will participate in this course, who through theoretical and practical sessions will address topics on clinical management, epidemiology, virology and immunology, transmission, integrated vector management, environmental risk factors and community participation, as well as control strategies and prevention of dengue in the context of other Arbovirosis (chikungunya and zika) present in the Americas. Parallel to this activity, symposia and workshops will be held, all related to the theme of dengue.
It is important to disseminate this course among the professionals of the Ministries of Health of the countries and territories of the Americas, to give the opportunity to its professionals to attend and to have information and updating of the highest level.
