Official handover of the two pick-ups done by PAHO/WHO Health Systems and Services Advisor Dr. Rosmond Adams to the Minister of Health Dr. Amar Ramadhin.
Suriname, December 6, 2022 (PAHO) – Through funding support from the U.S Government, PAHO/WHO donated two Toyota Hilux pick-up trucks to the Ministry of Health (MoH) and the Regional Health Services (RGD) in support of strengthening community outreach and advocacy activities for COVID-19 and other health promotional activities.
The official handover of the donation was formally done by PAHO/WHO’s Health Systems and Services Advisor, Dr. Rosmond Adams to the Minister of Health Dr. Amar Ramadhin at the Kersten Motors Toyota Dealer in the presence of Deputy Chief of Mission Mr. Priyadarshi Sen of the Embassy of the United States of America in Suriname.
The Minister of Health, Dr. Amar Ramadhin expressed his gratitude to PAHO and the U.S. Government for this generous donation which will strengthen community outreach and advocacy activities.
