In addition, PAHO/WHO will hold two other webinars on workplace stress, on May 26 and June 16.

The World Day for Safety and Health at Work is observed annually on April 28 to commemorate workers who have suffered injuries, diseases or fatalities, to celebrate all such events that were effectively prevented, to raise awareness of the risks of occupational injuries and diseases, and to promote their prevention.

PAHO/WHO is supporting the campaign in the Americas together with the ILO Regional Office for Latin America and the Caribbean, the Organization of American States (OAS), the Inter-American Conference of the Ministries of Labor (IACML), and the Inter-American Network for Labor Administration (RIAL).
