A new portal with innovations in the search sources available to users is being launched to celebrate the 25 years of LILACS (Latin American and Caribbean Health Science Literature Database.) It also offers some other resources. These changes are expected to bring improvements in usability and in the results aggregated to this index.
Coordinated by BIREME, LILACS is the most important and comprehensive index of scientific and technical literature of Latin America and the Caribbean. For 25 years, it ha been contributing to increase visibility, access and quality of health information in the Region.
