What would you do if someone collapsed in front of you? What if a colleague got a poisonous bite?
The Country Office for PAHO/WHO The Bahamas and Turks and Caicos Islands participated in a First Aid course to ensure that the workplace was prepared in the event of a safety emergency or cardiac arrest. From Hands-only CPR to the use of AEDs to caring for burns, the team learnt the skills necessary to save a life. After the training, the team participated in a comprehensive examination. The course was certified by the American Heart Association.
