The multi-denomination organizations were provided with information from experts on the prevention of zika through vector control as well as on the medical complications of zika, such as microcephaly in children and other neurological disorders in adults. Apart from the dissemination of information, the workshop participants also had the opportunity to dicuss the ethical and moral issues which can arise from the effects of zika infection.
