This page allows the visualization and analysis of a database of HIV biological surveillance studies conducted in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) among most-at-risk populations (MARP), pregnant women and other vulnerable populations. It can be used to guide program planning, fundraising and advocacy, identify gaps in HIV biological surveillance, improve surveillance studies, and support funding proposals.
PAHO is continually updating the LAC MARP database. Those who have information about new HIV biological studies in these populations and would like to include them in the database should send the information to sida@paho. In the subject line, please type "New Studies for HIV MARP Database".
This database is part of the PAHO Public Health Intelligence Platform (PHIP) and requires Tableau Reader to view.
