During August 24-28, 2009, the Ministry of Health of Chile, with the support of PAHO, organized a National Course-Workshop on Gender and Health. The objective of the workshop was to examine aspects related to gender equity and health, and to strengthen the institutionalization of gender equity in decision making.
Regional secretaries of health and directors of health services from all the regions in Chile participated in this workshop.
