Brazil (Update)
On 14 May 2024, the Government of the state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, published updated information on the heavy rains affecting 446 municipalities of the state.

Uruguay (Update)
On 13 May 2024, the Uruguay National Emergency System published information on heavy rains affecting the five departments of the country. According to the report, 2,845 were displaced throughout the country (decrease of 189 since the 13 May report); they are geographically distributed across the departments of Paysandú (n=1,173), Durazno (n=727), Treinta y Tres (n=86), Salto (n=537), Cerro Lago (n=117), Artigas (n=102), Rocha (n=40), Soriano (n=37) and Tacuarembó (n=26).
