Ecuador
On 7 February 2024, the National Committee for the Regional Study of El Niño (ERFEN per its acronym in Spanish), provided the technical bulletin on the El Niño phenomenon effects in the country. Since 1 January to 7 February 2024, 390 events related to the phenomenon were reported affecting 10,710 people in 100 cantons of the country. The most affected provinces are Los Ríos, Esmeraldas, Manabí y Guayas. The report is available from: ERFEN
