Uruguay (Update)
On 2 November 2023, the Uruguay National Emergency System published information on the heavy rains occurring in Artigas, Paysandú, and Salto, Uruguay. Currently 2,942 people have been displaced from their homes, 223 were evacuated (21 increase since the 30 October report) and 2,719 self-evacuated (820 increase). The displaced persons geographically correspond to Paysandú (1,790 total, representing a 464 increase), Salto (973 total, representing a 354 increase), and Artigas (179 total, representing a 23 increase).
