Guatemala (Update) 

On 6 July 2023, the Guatemala National Coordinator for Disaster Reduction (CONRED per its acronym in Spanish) published an update on the rainy season in the country. There have been 241 severe rain weather incidents reported (30 increase since the 30 June report). There were at least 491,895 people affected (64,780 increase), 4,059 people were attended to (675 increase), 7,950 people are categorized as at risk (33 increase), 1,717 people were evacuated (196 increase), and 14 deaths were reported. In addition, 633 houses were moderately damaged (24 increase) and 41 severely damaged (7 increase). The report is available from: CONRED
