On 5 December 2022, the National Unit for Disaster Risk Management (UNGRD per its acronym in Spanish) provided information regarding the rainy season and the La Niña phenomenon. According to the report, in the municipality of Pueblo Rico, Risaralda Department, a mass movement caused a landslide in La Cabaña Sector. The landslide has caused 11 deaths after burying a bus. The National Crisis Center monitors the operational entities of the national order and the air support activated with the National Police, the Colombian Air Force, and the National Army.
