Peru (Update)
On 5 April 2023, the Peru Civil Protection (INDECI per its acronym in Spanish), published updated information on the heavy rains affecting the departments ofÁncash and Lima. In the department of Áncash, there were 9,313 people affected (an increase of 365 since the 3 April report). There were 3,010 homes affected (an increase of 149) and 306 were destroyed (an increase of 26). In the department of Lima, there were 6,150 people were affected (1,165 increase since the 29 March report); A total of 2,269 homes (320 increase) and 4 health care facilities (1 increase) were affected and 275 were destroyed (81 increase).
