On 30 May 2023, the Halifax Regional Municipality, of Nova Scotia, Canada, provided information the occurrence of a wildfire since 28 May 2023. The fires are burning in multiple areas, with more than 788.3 hectares in the impacted area. The fire is ongoing and is not yet under control. About 16,492 residents have been evacuated from their homes, with currently no missing people or injuries reported.
