On 30 January 2023, the Guatemala National Coordination System for Disaster Reduction (CONRED per its acronym in Spanish), provided information on incidents associated with the temperature decrease season in the country. The report indicates that as of 30 January 2023, there were 78 people in the 10 shelters opened by the government. Overall in the month of January there were 803 people sheltered, while in the prior month of December 2022, there had been 149 people sheltered. The report is available at: CONRED
