On 3 February, the United States Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) reported a significant winter storm that has been impacting the central and northeastern region of the US with heavy snow, sleet, and freezing rain. Over 100 million people in 25 states are under Winter and Ice Storm Warnings and Winter Weather Advisories. According to a media report, 210,000 residents are currently without power.
