Guatemala (Update)
On 29 January 2025, the Guatemala National Coordination for Disaster Reduction (CONRED per its acronym in Spanish) updated information on the ongoing severe weather and heavy rainfall in the country caused by the cold front. As of 29 January, 349 emergency incidents have been reported (12 increase since the 24 January report), directly impacting 4,242 people (231 increase). CONRED also reports moderate damage to 4,202 homes (229 increase), with 476 individuals currently sheltered. The report is available from: CONRED
