On 27 November 2022, according to the rainy season Bulleting published by the Minas Gerais Civil Defense Cordinatoor (CEDEC per its acronym in Portuguese), a total of 39 municipalities in the State have declared state of emergency. The heavy rains in Bandeira caused the overflow of the Bandeira and Rubim Rivers, affecting several homes in urban area, while landslides have affected buildings and bridges in the rural areas. Overall in Minas Gerais, a total of 3,685 persons were forced to leave their homes and 2 deaths have been reported. The report is available at: CEDEC_No332
