Guatemala (Update)
On 25 September 2023, the Guatemala National Coordinator for Disaster Reduction (CONRED per its acronym in Spanish) published an update on the rainy season in the country. There have been 805 severe rain incidents reported (49 increase since the 22 September report). At least 2,123,634 people were affected (66,502 increase), 31,492 people were attended to (5,313 increase), 10,303 people were evacuated (3,944 increase), 9,613 people remain considered at risk (225 increase), 35 deaths were reported, and 16 people are missing.
