Guatemala (Update)
On 22 September 2023, the Guatemala National Coordinator for Disaster Reduction (CONRED per its acronym in Spanish) published an update on the rainy season in the country. There have been 756 severe rain incidents reported (12 increase since the 18 September report). At least 2,057,132 people were affected (3,998 increase), 26,179 people were attended to (123 increase), 6,359 people were evacuated (115 increase), and 9,388 people remain considered at risk (10 increase). In addition, 165 homes were severely damaged (31 decrease). The report is available from: CONRED
