On 25 October 2023, Government of Mexico published information regarding the passage of the hurricane Otis on 24 October 2023, that was converted to a tropical storm, in the State of Guerrero, Mexico. Initial reports indicate 631 temporary shelters were opened to accommodate 34,522 families. In addition, 504,340 users were left without electricity, of which 202,932 have been restored remotely.
