Brazil (Update)
On 24 October 2023, Civil Protection of the state of Amazonas in Brazil provided an update on the ongoing drought. There have been 608,000 people affected by the drought (18,000 increase since the 19 October report) and 152,000 families affected in the state of Amazonas.
