Peru (Update)
On 23 March 2023, the Peru Civil Protection (INDECI per its acronym in Spanish), published updated information on the effects of the heavy rains in the departments of Huancavelica and La Libertad. In the department of Huancavelica, there were 2,026 people affected, as well as 650 homes and 2 health care facilities were affected, and 162 homes were destroyed. In the department of La Libertad, 778 people were affected (17 increase since the 14 March report), 110 homes are affected, and 134 homes were destroyed and.
