On 22 May 2024, the Government of the state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, published updated information on the heavy rains affecting 467 municipalities of the state (three increase since the 21 May report).

United States of America

On 22 May 2024, the United States Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) published information on the severe weather affecting portions of the Central Plains and the Midwest. According to the information, power outages were reported, affecting 65,000 customers (46,000 in Wisconsin, 5,000 people in Minnesota, and 14,000 people in Iowa). Additionally, one shelter has been opened and four deaths were reported in Iowa. The report is available from: FEMA
