Brazil (update)

On 20 June 2023, the Civil Protection of Rio Grande do Sul State, Brazil, published updates on the effects of the tropical cyclone indicating there were 15 deaths (14 increase since the 16 June report). In addition, 15,362 people have been displaced, with 6,500 of them in the municipality of Taquara. Peru (Update)

As of 20 June 2023, the Peru Civil Protection (INDECI per its acronym in Spanish), published updated information on the heavy rains affecting Peru. In addition to the data in the table, the department of Piura reported 303 health care facilities were affected (27 increase since the 29 May report).
