On 18 July 2023, the Colombia National Unit for Disaster Risk Management (UNGRD per its acronym in Spanish) published information regarding the landslide caused by the heavy rains, in the municipality of Quetame, department of Cundinamarca. There were over 20 homes destroyed, 11 deaths were reported, and the number of missing persons and affected houses are being evaluated. Additionally, two roads were affected.
