Guatemala (Update)

On 18 September, the Guatemala National Coordination for Disaster Reduction (CONRED per its acronym in Spanish) published an update on the ongoing rainy season, indicating there have been 1,850 related incidents nationally from the severe weather (235 increase since the 4 September report). As of 18 September, there were 9,830 people directly impacted (1,257 increase) and 26,268 evacuated people (2,324 increase). In addition, 9,830 homes were affected (1,264 increase), of which 8,587 presented moderate damage, 834 with minor damage, and 406 were severely damaged. The report is available from: CONRED
