On 16 June 2024, the Ecuador Risk Management Secretariat published information on heavy rains affecting the canton of Baños De Agua Santa, in the province of Tungurahua, Ecuador. There have been 1,027 people affected, 22 people injured, ten people are reported as missing, and six deaths have been reported. Four shelters have been opened, housing 1,027 people. El Salvador
On 17 June 2024, the El Salvador Civil Protection published information on heavy rains affecting the country and for which the government has declared an emergency. The published reports indicate 26 homes have been affected and 100 shelters were opened. Additionally, media is reporting 14 deaths and the evacuation of 882 people.
