United States of America (Update)
On 16 August 2023, the United States Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), published an update regarding the wildfire Hawaii. A total of 106 deaths (7 increase since the 15 August report). The state of Hawaii, State secured more than 400 hotel rooms and 1,400 units from AirBNB for displaced people. In Maui County 8 shelters were opened with 325 occupants (246 decrease). In addition, 2,000 customers are without power (2,604 decrease) and 11 cell towers are offline (8 decrease). The report is available at: FEMA
