Guatemala (Update)
On 16 July 2024, the Guatemala National Coordinator for Disaster Reduction (CONRED per its acronym in Spanish) published updated information on the rainy season in the country. There have been 1,319 severe rain incidents reported nationally (52 increase since the 12 July report). According to the report, 7,172 people were directly impacted (226 increase) and there were 18,129 people evacuated (997 increase). In addition, 356 homes were severely damaged (16 increase) and 6,117 homes were moderately damaged (192 increase). The report is available from: CONRED
