United States of America (Update)

On 15 January 2025, the United States Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) provided an update on the wildfires affecting Southern California. In Los Angeles County, 83,400 mandatory evacuations are still in effect, reflecting a decrease of 22,600 since the 14 January report. Seven shelters are currently open, accommodating 768 people. Furthermore, there have been 41 fatalities, 9 injuries, and 4,453 homes destroyed, an increase of 1,509 since the previous update. The report is available from: FEMA
