On 14 February 2024, the Brazil Agency of Communication (EBC per its acronym in Portuguese) provided information on the heavy rains in the state of Amapá, Brazil. The municipality of Macapá declared an emergency due to the rains that flooded homes and affected structures. Media is reporting 97 families are sheltered in a school of Macapá. Ecuador
On 13 February 2024, the Ecuador Risk Management Secretariat, provided information on the heavy rains that occurred in the canton of Milagro, province of Guyas, Ecuador. A total of 200 families were affected. The report is available from: Riesgos Ecuador
