On 11 September 2023, the state Government of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, published an update on the heavy rains affecting the state. There are 46 deaths reported (5 increase since the 8 September report) distributed in the municipalities of Bom Retiro do Sul (1), Colinas (1), Cruzeiro do Sul (5), Encantado (1), Estrela (2), Ibiraiaras (2), Imigrante (1), Lajeado (3), Mato Castelhano (1), Muçum (16), Passo Fundo (1), Roca Sales (11), and Santa Tereza (1), A total of 46 people are missing (3 decrease), and 73 injuries were reported (851 increase).
