On 11 May 2023, the National Weather Service of United States, published information on severe weather affecting the states of Oklahoma and Texas. The report indicates thunderstorms formed in southwestern Oklahoma and near Wichita Falls in north Texas and moved northeastward into central Oklahoma. Media is reporting 14,000 people were without power in Oklahoma city (12,500) and Noble (1,500).
