Brazil (update)
On 12 December 2022, the Civil Protection of Minas Gerais of Brazil provided information regarding heavy rains in the state and indicated 80 municipalities have declared an emergency. Trinidad and Tobago
On 9 December 2022, the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), provided information regarding the heavy rains that occurred in Trinidad and Tobago on 26 November 2022. According to the report, the Caroni River banks burst in some areas causing riverine flooding in Bamboo #2, Valsayn South, Real Spring Gardens, Kelly Village, Madras Road, and El Carmen, St. Helena.
